Mayor Pecak Condemns "Takedown Tesla" Vows to Protect Lisle Businesses

I would like to thank the Tesla dealership for all that's you've done to boost the Lisle economy, to create jobs, and to make our environment more sustainable.

Despite the "Takedown Protest" organized this week by Indivisible Illinois and DuPage County Democrats, please know that I greatly value your presence here in the Village of Lisle, as do a vast majority of our residents and other businesses.

I assure you that I will do everything I can to keep your business, its employees and its customers safe.

While I support and respect a citizen's 1st amendment right to free speech & assembly, I do not support an organized "takedown" effort to destroy a Lisle business.

I wish you great success in growing your business here in Lisle.
